Stuart Rod & Reel Fishing Club in Stuart, FL
Our mission is to promote interest in and knowledge of sport fishing, good sportsmanship, social interaction and fellowship among its members,
and to endorse responsible stewardship of the St. Lucie Estuary, the Indian River Lagoon and Florida’s coastal and offshore waters.
We are dedicated to promoting the sport of fishing, building solid relationships and creating lasting memories for our members. The Club was founded in 1982 and continues to grow as the area’s premier fishing club.
The Stuart Rod and Reel Club sponsors a monthly outing on the second weekend following the general membership meeting. The outing winner is awarded a nice fishing shirt embroidered with the Club’s logo and the angler’s name. Join us at one of our monthly meetings and we’re sure you’ll be hooked!

April Pot Luck /Masterchef Luncheon
Update March 20 - From Eric Rosenburg
Hello esteemed members of The Stuart Rod & Reel Club!
Thank you for your participation so far! I already have a number of dishes provided by our members, but we need more. We could use a couple more desserts, even cookies/brownies would be great. We have a number of sides/appetizers but can use a couple more. Maybe chicken wings as an example. We have 5 main dishes and would like to see 2 more.
If you did not attend February or March's meeting or outing, you may not know that I announced a special outing for April. I call it the "Pot Luck/Masterchef luncheon". Most of you know a "Pot Luck" meal is when a bunch of people bring trays of food for all to share. I have added the "Masterchef" to it.
We want participation, so what better way to do that than to offer prizes for the best dishes. There will be 3 categories. Dessert, side dish/appetizer & main course. The Club is sponsoring prizes of $25 each for the best dessert & side/appetizer & $50 for the "Second place" main course. The winning main course dish is sponsored by me. The winner will join me on a night snook fishing trip aboard 772 Charters with Capt James Cronk.
I will be one of the judges, meaning I get to finally eat at an outing and not cook. I am not asking anybody to make dishes for 30 people. I am thinking along the lines of maybe enough for 8 or so, hoping we get good participation. I will be coordinating everything. If you have something you would like to make in mind, please contact me by email erosen1031@aol.com or phone: 516-983-0168. I need ALL dish ideas/offers by the April Membership meeting. The sooner you contact me the better.
Please participate and let really make this work.
Thank you all in advance!
Best regards,
Eric Rosenberg
